A long-distance relationship with a hot American businessman is the last thing on Beatrice Hart’s mind when the day from hell ends with her drink-booking a last minute escape to glamorous Southern California.
With Bea’s firm belief that long distance never works, will she ever consider that that an exhilarating introduction at 35,000 feet could lead to anything more than a steamy holiday romance?
Daniel Berkeley is the irresistible, delectable, smoking hot bachelor, determined to make it happen.
I like a good chance encounter, especially while on vacation because your mind-set is perfect for romance and lust. The mind is more relaxed and less likely to be against adventures.
But this story was not executed well. I don’t mind British vocabulary at all, but Ms. Lovell sorely needs a better editor. How many times can you use the same word, and especially words like, “hot” and “baby” which are already over-used in the first place?
There were some unexpected amateurish errors, e.g. “go to home” instead of “go home” on the first page.
The sex scenes were not bad, but were quite mundane. Spices in the scenes themselves and the wording were in order.
Do not bother with book 2 of the series.
2 out of 5 stars in my book.
