About

A guy slightly less reluctant to admit that he has a sentimental side.

That, and the fact that romance seems quite dead in real life.

  1. Hi Clyde! Thanks for checking out my blog. It’s nice to meet another avid reader and reviewer. I look forward to following your posts and chatting about books with you!

  2. How can something be dead if it never existed in the first place? Well, it exists in novels, movies and fairy tales. And it exists in the magical beginnings of a new lover. But it fades along with time just like my soul has. I’m another jaded non believer. Nice to know there’s other realists out there.

  3. Hey Clyde! Thanks for the follow. I look forward to reading your reviews and I’ve already put one of your 4 out of 5’s on my To Be Read. Thanks so much!

  4. Hello Clyde: I’m truly compliment that one who appears to be quite discriminating, would choose to follow my blog. Thank you!

Romance isn’t dead, it’s just hidden behind too much P.C. and the waning courage of men and women who have been cowed into thinking it’s ‘not cool.’ Romance lives in most of us, and for those brave hearts who step up to the plate, the rewards are, well…sigh…we know the rewards.

Of course, the flip side is the risk of the injured soul should the affair go awry.

I do my very best to have the romance of the kink bless the books I write. Sometimes I’m more successful than others, but I always try.

Looking forward to your blog, Clyde, and thank you again.

  5. Just wanted to stop by and say thanks for the follow on my blog! I’ve read a few of your reviews already and will definitely read more when I’ve got some time!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and opinions! 🙂

  6. Romance is alive in the real world, but it probably doesn’t seem as fascinating as in the world of fiction. However, after 40+ years of love and marriage, I wouldn’t trade my romance for anything “more exciting” that isn’t real! Hope you find the love of your life that lasts a lifetime!! Anybody who has a sentimental side has a good chance at a happy romance, I think. 🙂
